Move In/Out Clean Checklist

Whole home
Dust ceilings, corners, vents, fans, and light fixtures.
​Wipe doors, door frames, light switches, and outlet covers.
Dust and wipe baseboards and window sills throughout.
Clean interior windows and tracks (as safely reachable).
Vacuum all carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard floors.

Kitchen
Clean inside and outside of all cabinets and drawers.
Clean and sanitize countertops and backsplash.
Clean inside and outside of refrigerator (if emptied).
Clean oven, stovetop, knobs, and range hood.
​Clean inside and outside of microwave and dishwasher.
Scrub and sanitize sink, faucet, and garbage disposal (if present).
Wipe doors, trim, and baseboards; sweep and mop floor.

Bathrooms
Clean and sanitize tub, shower walls, fixtures, and glass doors.
​Scrub and sanitize toilets (inside, outside, and base).
Clean and sanitize sinks, faucets, and countertops.
Clean mirrors and any glass surfaces.
​Clean inside and outside of cabinets and drawers.
​Dust vents, wipe baseboards, and mop floors.

Bedrooms and living areas
Dust all surfaces, shelves, ledges, and built-ins.
​Clean interior of closets, including shelves and tracks.
Clean mirrors and glass where applicable.
Wipe doors, trim, window sills, and baseboards.
Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard floors.

Inside garage, patios, and balconies sweep-out.
